The National Marine Aquarium  was the first aquarium in the United
Kingdom to be set up solely for the purpose of education, conservation and
research. It remains one of Britain's foremost aquarium with stunning exhibits
and a reputation for excellence in education.The Aquarium experience
comprises a total of 50 live exhibits including three massive tanks, the
largest of which – Britain’s deepest tank – holds 2.5 million litres of water.
Over 4000 animals from 400 species are displayed in realistic habitats from local shorelines to coral reefs.
The Aquarium is made up of 6 main zones: Explorocean, The Shallows, Atlantic Reef, Meditteranean Sea,
Weird Creatures and Coral Seas. Each zone is packed full of amazing Marine Creatures and fantastic
facts for you to find. Located in Plymouth, the National Marine Aquarium is the result of many years of
hard work and fund-raising to establish a leading aquarium in the UK


Theatre Royal Plymouth  is situated in the town centre with nearby
buses, taxis and parking. West End shows and musicals, ballet, pantomimes
and plays are presented and there is tiered seating in the stalls, circle and
upper circle. Various prices apply etc There are many different entertainment
venues located throughout Plymouth city and one of the best of these is the
Theatre Royal.The Theatre Royal is a wonderful theatre with a large main
auditorium that not only houses productions from major production companies but they also produce their
own productions right there in their theatre. This theatre is a perfect spot to go and see a musical, a ballet
or to go to the opera.


ClipArt Plymouth   One great place to go for active entertainment and
especially to tap into your artistic side is ClayArt. ClayArt is a ceramic
painting studio, in Plymouth, where for just a small fee people are able to not
only choose a great ceramic piece to take home with them as a souvenir, but
they are also able to paint and design this piece however they choose to do it
colors and all. This is a great activity to do with children or just to get into
your artistic side. If you are looking to spend some quality time with the family, or are just looking for
something a little different to keep you busy for a couple of hours, then this is the place to be.


Mayflower Plymouth   There may be many attractions there but one of
the most popular and maybe one of the most well known of them all is the
Mayflower Steps. There is all sorts of information concerning the Mayflower
and where it sailed from all the areas it went along its journey, its passengers
who were aboard, and so much more. There is more information about the
Mayflower here than you would have ever though possible, it would be
Impossible to come here on vacation and not learn something about Plymouth & or the famous Mayflower.
The Mayflower Steps are believed to be close to the site in the Barbican area of Plymouth, south-west
England, from which the Pilgrim Fathers finally left England aboard the Mayflower, before crossing the
Atlantic Ocean to settle in North America on 6 September 1620. This is certainly worth taking the time out
to visit on your trip.


Morwellham Quay Plymouth   One of the great attractions is the
Morwellham Quay, which is filled with fun and interesting things to do. The
Morwellham Quay is host to many different kinds of events, which means it
should be very easy to find any number of things to do that would interest
an individual or a family here on vacation. The site has been imaginatively
preserved to give an impression of Victorian industrial and rural life. The
assayers' offices have been carefully preserved and Victorian cottages, farm and schoolrooms presented.
The ore crushing plants driven by a 32 foot overhead waterwheel can be seen. An electric tramway takes
passengers down into the copper mine and there is also an extensive ecological programme of visits to
explore the valley by water and land. An award-winning, evocative museum and visitor centre in the heart
of the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site & Tamar Valley Area of
Outstanding Natural Beauty.


Mount Edgecombe House And Park   is the former home of the
Earls of Mount Edgecombe, and is set within 865 acres of countryside in
South East Cornwall. The House and Earl's Garden are open to the public
during March to September. Across the water from our historic city Plymouth
lies the great Cornish House of Mount Edgcumbe. The house was built
between 1547 and 1553 for the renowned Edgcumbe family of Cotehele and
became the home of the Earls of Mount Edgcumbe. The house is now beautifully restored to the 18th
century style, in keeping with the furniture & family treasures it holds, all of which have family connections.


Drake Circus Shopping Mall   first opened in October 2006, this
brand new shopping mall on three levels offers many popular high street
shops. Drake Circus is the West Country's most popular shopping centre.
Here, you'll find many of the UK's top brand names and the biggest stores
in the region all under one roof. With over 60 shops, you can browse for
the latest fashions or discover great gifts for friends and family. There are
loads of places to stop and eat too and with over 1200 parking spaces a visit couldn't be easier. Drake
Circus has a lively fun atmosphere where everyone can enjoy a memorable shopping experience every time
you visit. There are always plenty of things happening in Drake Circus from fashion shows, to special
retailer events to entertainment for all the family.
